filter shut down

hi everyone
one of my disucs tanks filter shut down
the tank has 2 inch juveniles 6 of them with plants
i have habit of shutting the filter off for feeding so the food dont get scattered and doesnt get sucked into the intake
so its my fault the fiter was shut down for appox 6 hrs
so i put the juvies in my other discus tank
which contain 5 5 inch discus
my question is
will every thing be fine with the over crowded 55 gl tank
total of 9 discus
will the fish suffer as well as me

6hrs isn't too bad. just turn it back on,

give it a day or 2 to settle down and move your fish back, 9 discus in a 55 will be fine for a few days.

did the filter break our did you just forget to turn it back on? if you just forgot the bio filter will be okay after only 6 hours.9 fish in the 55 you'll need to do large water changes everyday and the bigger fish will probably harass the smaller fish i wouldn't keep them together for long

would it be okay if i put those 5 2 inch juvies in a 20 bb with one of those corner filters stuffed with some filter floss
of course i would seed te filter first
