i must be doing something right :)

my heckle and heckle cross have been fighting a bit with a spotted discus i have in the same tank the last cpl of days and the heckle went a bit dark for the last cpl of days. got home this arvo and found out why
the heckle has paired with the heckle cross and theyve layed a bunch of eggs
i was so excited to see it when i got home
tried to get a cpl of pics but the glass is really dirty so there not too flash.
looks like i will have to setup another breeding tank

loaded vista the other day and cant get my camera to show up, but when i can will post some crappy pics :P

i dont expect anything out of the first few times so will leave them in the tank there in for a little practice, but will get the fish out of the 100ltr tank and put them in there in a cpl of weeks and have a good go at getting some fry ?
i brought a breeding cone a few weeks ago but havn't wet it yet.
i dont run RO but will seriously have to think about it now :P
it's the bigger of the 2 heckles Samir @ about 4-4.5 inch from head to tail
and the cross is absolutely huge and a proven breeder

P.S. i tried for 2hrs to get my camera to show in Vista ultimate "grrr" "haha ultimate yer right" and it's not happening if i cant get it to work soon going to load XP Pro again !!!

I'd just leave them where they are, till they get wrigglers.
and btw even if you do get fry, it doesn't count :P LOL
only S. discus X S. discus will be regarded as a heckel breeding.

That is great news. I hope you will have nice youngsters from that pair. You say, that female is a cross from what kind of discus?
