    Locality...

    I'm loving these fish... The only problem is that they were sold to me as Tanganicodus Irsacae "Nyanza Lac" but apparentally not, the other pair of Gobies in the bucket with him were Blue Spot Kabezi ( Spathodus Erthyrodon I think...), so I think I'll need to call Heinz and sort it out...

    they look like kabezi used to work with the wholesaler he gets them from
    nyaza lac are a little brighter than those guys also have a funny yellow sheen over the head
    It's always darkest before dawn ... so if you're going to steal some rocks
    from your neighbours garden for your display tank, that's the time to do it.

    Just when I thought I knew what species they were ... So you think they are a Spathodus?

    The facial markings are a lot different on most Spathodus, and Tanganicodus irsacae have much smaller heads/mouths. Also, Eretmodus is the more common Goby imported in the hobby. Also, Spathodus have long cylindrical teeth. I don't think that I see this in your fish.
