I haven't ever used stability so I don't know what it would do. However I think the less you add the better....just give it time. The bacteria need time to grow.

Thats way too high....you need to keep the ammonia at around 2 ppm otherwise you kill the bacteria you are trying to grow.

Its a sliding door, so we have put rubber stripping all around and its fairly well sealed now.

I took some pics of the babies......darn hard to get the camera to even focus on them they move so quick!! I gotta get myself a proper camera!

I'm not sure of their age, I have had them 3 weeks.
Size when I bought them was 6 - 7 cms and I think they are a little bigger now.
