Rotala rotundifolia is the plant that was just to the right of center. With higher light it gets more red. This tank is pretty low light though

Been a while, I rescaped because I had so many pieces of driftwood that we getting lost. I wanted a single large looking piece. It's starting to fill back in, I really trimmed all the plants down.

sorry, yeah I get a small amount of algea on the glass. Some Green on the right side where the sun hits it through a window and a little brown algea if I run the lights too long. I have 4 or 5 ottos...

No CO2 in this tank. I have 3 root tabs under each of the swords on the left and 1 between the crypts on the right. I guess the fish poop just enough to help out the plants! I do 40% water changes...

I've had this guy for a little while now......great fish with a very mellow personality. Never hides and always hangs out in the front of the tank.

She did an excellent job of growing them up. She raised them from little 2.5 inch guys.
They looked so big in my 72 gallon tank that I had to go a double the room they had......(almost). Here's...

bought them locally from someone who is down sizing to just 1 tank. She originally bought them from Kenny's Discus in San Francisco..........I got a good deal. I got all three for what 1 should cost....

I was only able to QT for 48 hours as I needed my QT tank for something else.......so they went into the planted and are doing fine....eating and exploring!

It's gone through lots of changes since I last visited! Changed to Sand/Flourite and got rid of all plastic plants.........added a nice brown discus and took out the angels (they were to aggresive)

82 degrees, PH is 7, everything else is running fine.

They are starting to loose the shyness and come out and eat. Hoping I can get the skinny guys to grow out some. Oh and I took out a bunch of plastic plants and added some live. Slowly but surely.......
