The LFS near me sells C grades for $3 each. B's for $5 and A's for $20. I didn't mean to sound like I was having a go, it was just that you said that some were A's and all the ones in picture were...

I researched recently about the same thing. Everything I read indicated that lambs heart was too oily and should be avoided.
Love to hear if anyone on here has used it though

Co2 is no more complicated than an air pump to an air stone once you understand it.
No problems though, I can't think of any other way to safely lower it without adding the buffer.

ah right. You could add Co2 to the water? That lowers the PH. Expensive start up cost but refilling bottles isn't that expensive?

have you tried bogwood? It can lower the PH of the water quite effectively

picked up a HOB in the end, added matrix from my canister to help it along. It turns over 300L/H so I am now hitting 1250L?H which I am happy with.
