Offer it live black worm. any fish that refuses this is sick indeed. If you want to raise these fish to anywhere near a decent size, put them in a bare bottom tank.

Hard to say. Has it shown any sign of white poo? If so could have worms or some other internal disease such as Hex. Could just be the bullying. Hard to say without a pic. Has it lost weight...

I use the programmable RW series by Jebao. They have six wave programs and variable speeds and are cheap. Got mine from Fish Street.

It's strange, have no problems with my Altums and Heckel cross turks discus. No dramas with my sterbais or BN either, but have not been able to keep other L series cats. Temperature? 28c.

Hi there, Iooking for advice regarding a suitable species of pleco, other than a BN for my discus and Altum angel tank. Preferably a smaller type. I have tried an L397, but to no avail.

Don't know why anyone bothers with canisters these days. They are a pain to clean, get clogged and result in water spills. I run a bog standard trickle filter with bio balls.

hi there. Slowly increasing the temperature usually does the trick, as it increases the fishes metabolism. You could put it up to 35 easily. But do it gradually.

Took delivery of my fish on Friday. Very impressed with quality and they fed after only an hour or so in the tank. I heard that Aquarium Industries had 80, less my four.

Well I got four on order, arriving on Friday. Would have preferred a larger group, but these were very expensive, more than I anticipated. And I know how much these fish can be!
