I've read that its not a good idea to allow them to breed to early. I'm not of the science but suspect it may have to do with redirecting resources from growing to producing eggs/mucus etc during the...

When you say no bracing do you mean there isn't a panel running front to back in the centre at the top? Some tanks just rely on the thin strip that runs along the top of the long panes that the lids...

I like them too but my Missus doesn't. Maybe she just needs a pair in the living room for a while to get used to them.

I use a $40 hand operated mincer from robins. Works fine. I only do 2kg at a time though.

Oh they're aweful. I might be willing to take them off your hands as a gesture of good will.

None planned at this stage Ben. I was working from home when I raised this batch. I'm not sure how I'd do it and work my full time job with 2hrs travel on top.

I found them online but can't remember if on a forum or flea bay. Pretty sure they were splitting a can of the reputable brine shrimp eggs. I'be never grown them out only hatched them and fed...

Marlon is reputable and knows his stuff. Follow his advice on growing out. I don't think he would have said 5cm is adult. Must be some mis-communication. Could it be that marlon meant 5inches which...

I don't think that size fish is any where near adult. I have 4 inch fish and consider them juvenile to sub-adult. When to back off on the grow-out conditions is a good question though. I guess I was...
