my discus spawned in my tank a few times and the female kept guard for a couple of days but she would always end up eating them because of the other fish moving in on them

Yeah, I use both as well. Everyone tells you something different, about what to feed your discus, and what not to feed them. I just thought it was interesting reading.

Just wondering, i feed my discus breeders choice and tetrabits, what sort of ratio do you think per week should I feed them that to frozen brineshrimp, beef heart etc.

That should be fine. My display discus are in a plated tank, simialr to your and they are as happy as can be!!! Also bristlenose love discus water!!!

it is the smallest in the tank, and I have had it for about 1 month or longer. Its not hiding or anything and eating fine, but I am just worried about its heavy breathing and poo formation.

The D stands for deluxe. It has a ceramic impellor and the intake and outake clip out easier as one for cleaning. Basically everything else is the same.

I have rainbow sharks in with my discus and they don't bother the discus at all. But I wouldn't put the angels in.
