Ive found with high temps in summer that facing a fan over the top of the tank helps.
Last resort is popping a frozen 600ml water bottle into the tank before going to work.
Slows down the overheat...

Popped into Bubbles last weekend and met Tony.
Picked up a couple of Ottos and some cardinals for my new tank, swimming around happily (think i may have to tone the filter down though, more like a...

How many fish are you planning on putting it.
With your lights and no co2 i wouldnt be adding extra fertilizer, you will end up with algae coming out your ears !

Personally i fill up my extra space with JBL Micromec, about $20 for a box if it and its easy to rinse, also comes with its own media bag so no issues there.
Otherwise the rest of the space is a...

Havent used the Jebao ones.
I use Pondmaster and Atman 11w units, work pretty well for me.
Replacement bulbs arent that hard to get.

Are you doing daily water changes or once weekly ?
If its once a week just heat the water the day before.

This should be attached to some wood or a rock, preferably wood.
The nutrients are taken in by the roots from water flow, burying them will result in the rhizome rotting and the plant dying.

I found you have to really jam the hose on the fitting for the marathon, and dont have them bending away too sharply.

I second the PSI call, a lot of the Marine Reefers on MASA use them and all of them reckon the service is great.

I have a couple of old Tetra HoB filters, but you cant really keep other filter media in them due to the design, at least with water flowing through all the media.
Looks like the top filters are...
