I am not sure about the apistos...
I have recently baught 3 more... and again... they disappeared... maybe they died or something but i couldnt find any corpse... maybe the corys took care of...

I will be making some food for them soon...i hope i can see some more colour in them! right now they dont have a very varied diet... mostly bloodworms and flakes...

problem seems to persist after a aquari-sol treatment... i was hoping it would work sice it has copper sulfate in it...

Pleco's sometimes like to look at the discus slim coat as a delicacy... i know we've lost some where i work at before cause a gold nugget pleco that was in the show tank with a few discus was going...

thats true about the turqs, but it could just be a distorted image also... i guess if it under 2hours aways il have a peek at them :P

OH that's right, it would definatly become a pain to maintain the plants!
the tank is 48"x18"x18" so aprox 255L or arround 70galons
I havent baught any lighting yet, except for the twin 24"...

I have read alot about these and how great they are to help give water movement in the soil by convection....
is it really all that necessary to have mouvement?
i plan on using eco-complete...
