Robdog: i did that, it was a easy fix.
I had my tank wrapped up since friday.
and today i unwrapped it, no traces of Algea.
I'll try and keep it like this. buy new bulbs, and a second c02...

I wrapped my tank in 2 days ago.
I'll remove it tomorrow and have a peek.
if this did not help a bit, then i'll start by getting new bulbs, and then continue on the...

Hi,
i do really have a algea problem, had it for a long time now.
started when i moved my tank to my new appartment.
And i cannot seem to get rid of it.
Getting worse now.

the algea remover i've used is Tetra aqua Algumin.

i've tried for weeks to get rid of it,

less light
got some tablets to put in water, does not help.
tried with this liquid-removal stuff aswell..

can i cage wrigglers?
it's the first time in weeks, so i'd really like this to work.
earlier they have eaten eggs\wrigglers..
i bought some food for them "nobil fluid" can i cage them and feed...

i also hate algea, and waterchanges, wish i could just hook it up to the sink, and just turn on water, and it fills the tank, and removes the same ammount, so that it would be faster and easier..
...

thanks for the answer, i will follow that, and see how it goes.
I have set the light to go on at 09 in the morning and off at 10 at night.
i will cut back a little on that too, to see what helps..

My aquarium is 125L, i have 2 discus, 1 black ghost, and some tetras.
how often would i change 30% of the water?
i've now done it 1x week, but i'm having trouble with my plants, they just go...

The 3 first times i got wrigglers and freeswimmers, but not anymore, but as you say : Patience :)

They lay eggs 1x a week or more :)

i'm not an expert, but i dont think there's much you can do, other then to check that everything else is fine (water etc).
i just moved 2 discus from my maintank and over to a tank with a breeding...

so, make the light-time lower, and how to get rid of phosphate?
the light could be the fact that my gf never ever closes the curtains, the aquarium is not in direct sunlight, but it's been sunny...
