Don't stress about keeping the hose "clean"

try zuchini or blached cos letuce and see what happens
(your catfish will be omnivores but they do need some veggies in there diet to keep them as healthy as they can be :wink: )

wheelie bins arn't design to be full of water
when you do fill them up they can crack in th base and this tends to make a mess, funny that :wink:

firstly you heat your tank with the water movment through your hot pump
then heat it some more with your heater
then some more with your lights
you will lose a lot of water to evap :wink:...
