Is there issues with feeding fish with frozen food while it is still frozen and let them pick it apart? Could it result in possible digestion issues?

The sponge filter I'm using is too tall to do that and I don't have a smaller one which is seeded.

Fish all sold

I have for sale 6 Discus whos parents were San Merah cross with an Albino Alenquer. I bought the babies from Mattgoanna a couple months back.
The Fish are between 5cm and 7cm total body length...

That is the recipe I am using in two of my tanks - pool sand in the angel tank and play sand in the discus tank and am very happy with the results.
