The new discus i got, pasted a white long worm. It isn't soft and mucus so i ruled out hex.

Once it past i couldnt find it, then i found it floating near the top of the water. I took it out, its hard stiff and white. It has little dark rings along it.

I think it could be tape worm but it doenst look long enough.

Anyone have any thoughts?

cheers
Scott

Yeah might do a treatment of prazi and see how i go, ive been meaning to treat all the fish in the tank anyway.

If nothing is pasted then i wont worry unless they turn ill.

oops, was meant to be $20 not $2...

for my 70g tank i calculated it at 3 tabs, then 2 tabs on the 3rd & 6th day...

My discus had problems with tape worm and/or internal parasites. I used Internal Parasite Guard from <www.junglelabs.com> with great results. Later, Ray
