Thanks

yeah I had to ask several people in bunnings and found a box they were using to construct a lighting display. $5 dollars a sheet mate!.

back to the fish - they are cleanning heavily now and are concentrating on two key areas.

update you with egg photos shortly ( i hope )

Though I'm not a fan of the Pigeon type fish..... have to say these are some clean fish. Crossed with Goldens? Good shape, nice eyes.

I've seen this pair in the flesh - not a black dot in sight to spoil that beautiful shape

Nick recon you'll need at least 4 more tanks to hold all those fry :P

THANKS Lady RED

hehe no photos yet!

cant take any chances. This is the first time ive had a new pair keep there first spawn with me. Once they become competent swimmers and feed off the parents no probs!!

just a quick post.

I have a very large group of fry now.

happily free swimming and attached to the parents. Interestingly the fry have no problem attaching to the parents despite the female being almost solid white in colour.

Ill post pics in due course.

Regards

Nick

gday all

i will post pics up shortly.

i firstly need to obtain a camera which has zoom. I cant focus this one at all. The best i can do is this crappy shoot which makes my adult look wierd in shape, however you can make out some of the fry flying about.

these two have already started courting again and i think they will spawn whilst nursing these fry.

Interesting times ahead
