I was going through some of the forums and threads. I try to learn from every forum i visit. saw this section and love it!

http://www.tropicalfishgallery.com/photo-gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=10052&pos=37 The basic microgeophagus altispinosa. I wanted to try my hand breeding them. Bought 6 juvies. All male--oh well.

http://www.tropicalfishgallery.com/photo-gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=10052&pos=40 A head shot of a wild caught Satanoperca Jurupari. Bought 12 juveniles a little less than 2 years ago. Now have a trio that spawned for the first time last month. I have left them in a community until they reached breeding stage. It has been a 2 year plan--lol. In the spring, when i can set-up tanks in the garage again they will be a serious breeding effort.

http://www.tropicalfishgallery.com/photo-gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=10052&pos=53 My single Satanoperca leucosticta--Cuyuni. An incredible color morph--i have another shot in the gallery that shows a lot of blue--it really does color up like this (just an out of focus fuzzy thing) http://www.tropicalfishgallery.com/photo-gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=10052&pos=56.

My favorite eartheater--Gymnogeophagus gymnogenys--brazil. Have been looking for wild caught juveniles for the last year at a cichlid specific site--this species was more popular in the hobby in the early 90's. has virtually vanished it seems--at least in hobbyist tanks in the USA.

And, the species that started my interest in eartheaters 6 years ago--the Microgeophagus ramirezi. I bred them--a lot. http://www.tropicalfishgallery.com/photo-gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=10052&pos=66

Thought I would share. Do not just want to come in and post about sending letters. I truly love meeting people and learning about fishkeeping at all the boards I visit.
