How long should you age water. If you leave it for a few weeks, is that beter than a few days?

How do you age water, do you just leave it in a drum. Do you have to add anything to it?

Thanks

Reason for aging is that the ph out of your tap is not "true" if you like. Check your ph difference by leaving a glass of water over 24hours you should see a change in ph.

Because you dont want that ph change to happen in your tank we age our water, most say 24hours but with heavy aeration and circulation its is possible too use the water earlier.

i age my tank for 18 hours then use it every day

remember to airete it with large bubbles this will remove the chorline and large bubbles move more water around

and HEAT the water to the temp your tank is at. this will stop shock from large water changes
