Hi,

Would appreciate it if someone can tell me what is the growth rate of baby discus. I currently have a batch of red and whites that is about 6 weeks old. They are about the size of a 5 cent coin. Is this the right size for a 5-6 weeks old. They just look stunted to me.

I've got another batch of red & whites (from 2nd spawn) that is with the parents at the moment and they seem to be catching up to the older ones.

Regards

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Feed them plenty of protein rich foods and water change a minimum of once per day!

This stage is the hardest of all when breeding/growing discus. If they are not fed correctly and WC often their growth slow's down and may not grow to 'dinner plate' size discus when adult.
