i had to remove the eggs because the female could not cope with the pakistani loaches no matter how much she attacked them. I wana get a male opal borellii as well. ps anyone got any ideas on how to catch loaches with out tearing apart my tank?

It was probably best to remove the eggs as the pakistani's are notorious egg tamperers!

if your eggs are shiny on one side and scuffed up on the other you'll know who's responsible.

Sorry I couldnt get pics of the wrigglers as you might laugh at my unorthodox fish raising methods. The wrigglers are in a plastic fish bag at the moment as I dont have a grow out tank set up and I cant get a focus on them with my camera phone. Im in the process of buying a house at the moment so I have to move soon!

Theses borelliis came from my local lfs, I had him order them in through his wholesalers. They are quite common at the moment. Im suprised not more work has been done with developing the colours of borelliis. Im sure with selective breeding between opals and blue/golds you could intensify the overall blue and increase the red and gold on the face!

Congrats!

I've got 15-20 wrigglers too !!
About 3-4 days old.

What are you feeding them?
Please let me know, I need more ideas.

Currently giving them a few drops of liquidfry, Egg yolk and crushed fish food.

BBS might be too big for them. Have not tried that.

Sounds like you are doing everything you should be jchan.
With Liquidfry and egg yolk just keep up a good waterchange regime and they'll be up to BBS in no time
