My discus are recovering from Hex and seem to going pretty well, they are eating pretty well and looking happy, I am feeding them medicated beefheart that I made as per g1000's recipe with metro and garlic guard.

I just noticed that one one of them is passing a pretty dodgy looking stool,
here is a pic of it

What do you reckon ?

Cheers

That looks to be intestinal lining mate. Normal to see in hex cases.

Let us all know if the fish is looking dodgy itself or if that sort of poo continues.

I personally wouldnt worry about it.

one of my Discus is passing the same sort of poo, it also seems to be that as soon as one breaks off, another begins. I noticed this 15 min ago and have seen no real stop.

The fish in question looks normal. but considering I never catch him pooing, I'm somewhat concerned.

mine had one like that - and at the moment he's really bullying the others - but i thought the bullying was due to me changing the environment a bit and him trying to declare his new territory--his bullying wouldn't be becos of the poo thing would it

also do you need to treat it - have notice a few long black terds floating around the bottom

does it sound like a problem or is one just eating all the food??
