yo yo loach- discus compatibility

i was interested in getting some discus and was hoping that my fish choices werent disastorous

I will be keeping
6-8 discus
2 pakistani loaches (yoyo loaches)
3 blue rams
20 neons
10 cardinals

I will be keeping them in a 6ftx20x18 (450 litre) tank
with minireef filter

I wanted to know if they would make good tankmates (especially the loaches) also i wanted to know if the tank was overstocked
ie would a setup like this stunt the growth of the discus

also i wanted to know if it is better to start with just bare bottom
I would try keeping say 4-5 discus by themselves
in a barebottom 450 litre tank if it would mean lease water changes as im currently in yr 11 and cant afford to dedicate too much time due to impending hsc assesments

also what other fish could i try keeping

Neons will be expensive lunch for your discus. Plus, they don't do well in the high temp of Discus tank anyway.

With the size of your tank and the fish load, I guess you can get away with 40% WC per week. They will not grow as big as more WCs but you should be OK as long as you are not looking for them to have more babies.
