I plan to buy some plants on line and I'm wonder if I should QT them after I get them.

I don't have a QT tank (I know I know). I only have a 1 g tank that has nothing on it. Could I use it? How long do I have to QT them?

Thanks

No, you don't have to QT them, You could give them a bleach bath,15-1 Water-bleach

Thx guys.

I'm thinking of adding some warm water plants in my tank and there are some really good looking ones on the web. Just want to check with you guys first before putting them into my tank.

Bleach can burn the plants. If you don't have any crustatia in your tank that you want to keep then a copper bath is better. Copper sulfide I beleive is the most common used. It's a fertalizer for plants but crustatia don't do well with copper. If you have rid ick that will work too.
