What colour substrate

Hi all

I'm about to re start my 8x2x2 and am debating the substrate colour.

I've decided on a sand substrate, but am stuck between a dark 'natural' colour or white.

What do people recommend for planted discus with a tetra school of two plus some corys & bristlenose.

IMO Black all the way :)
It will come down to how much money you want to spend

Black defo, I've got a 450 litre planted tank with fine jet gravel and an internal black structed blackground and my discus are happy and look stunning against the black with the plants
