4 wide pic of house tank 20 discus.Filters fluval FX5 & aquaone 1200 with 36 watt uv + PH CO2 controlled injection set at 6.3 ph, light aqualina compact fluro 6 x 10000k x 6500k 6 ft light.

Co2 appears to be the key!

Number 2 & 3 pic is no CO2 just seachem flourish excel,lighting compact fluro 4 ft doubles 10000k-6500k lights, substrate 1 inch pool filter sand with heating cables, seachem flourite 2 inches & 1 inch gravel.Heating cables are on top of 1/2 inch pool filter sand then same on top of cables.
The other tank is set up the same but 50-50 mix of flourite gravel mix and Co2 PH controller, azoo plant fertilizer balls under the gravel, seachem flourish excel.
