I scared my Discus

Hi
I have had Discus in my tank for about 6 months now and all has been going well.
But last week I wet past the tank and all the fish swam away and hid. And now they are very shy. When I go up to the take I have to move slowly as not to frighten them.
What can I do?????

mine get the spooks now and then and dart around like crazy........I think it is part of their nature......

I would like advice too on how to get them out and about a bit more..... as they seem shy......but happy in the evenings arund feeding time
