Apart from trying to get some Discus posters whilst in the U.S. there are a few other things I want to source to bring back and test out...

What I want is suggestions, anything at all, electrical or not.

Examples of some items I want to look at or purchase...

1) Pentair Aquatics Customflo Water System

Customflo Water System is a new complete system that enables the creation of any desired flow patterns in any size aquarium tank and with any make or filter size. By assembling a variety of unique parts in multple ways, the Customflo is only limted by the imagination. It can be used on large or small aquariums or to upgrade any existing system. No holes are required since the over-the-wall assembly can be swiveled to allow close tank wall positioning. The package provides many installation suggestions and includes Control Valves, Spray Bars, Suction Cups, Adapters, Hydro Jet, Ball/Socket Assembly, Piping and a huge variety of fittings.

Features:

2) Marineland BIO-Wheel Pro

BIO-Wheel PRO™ adds superior wet/dry biological filtration to any new or existing aquarium system. It mounts easily on the back of the tank and is powered by an adjustable spray bar. Because it operates above the water line, the patented Marineland BIO-Wheel is exposed to both air and water, providing classic wet/dry biological filtration- faster and far more efficiently than any alternative submerged or sponge filter methods.

Ideal for 30 gallon or smaller aquariums, the BIO-Wheel PRO 30 outperforms a 30 gallon undergravel filter with 50 lbs of cultured gravel. The BIO-Wheel Pro 60 (two BIO-Wheels) delivers twice the filtration capacity. And while undergravel filters eventually clog and decline with age, BIO-Wheels actually improve over time.

Maintenance is easy. Simply lift the BIO-Wheel cover and take a few seconds to clean the spray bar with the custom brush provided — without disturbing the gravel bed or interfering with the biosystem. Powered models include a Penguin Power Head and sponge prefilter. Unpowered models connect directly to any canister filter, power head or other water pump.
