WOW! They are all absolutely stunning! I like the "wash" in them, and how they aren't flecked with other colours.

MM, those are sooo beautiful.
Just fantastic!! I am sooo jealous. Those Melons are so pretty in color.
I think the red marlboro or the melons would do just fine in MY tank with MY Blue Diamonds...
Whatcha think mm, you want to over night them to me? LOL

First of all why are they called Ocean Greens when they aren't green? Do they get a green color to them when they get older? (remember I said 50 million question).

By the way they are beautiful. I love them. They don't help my addiction to wanting Discus any. Thanks M_M for sharing the pics.

MM, I absolutely fell in LOVE with those bunga rayas when I was in SLS not that long ago. I am so pleased that firstly these ones have gone to a good home and secondly that I can now look at the pictures instead of just dreaming about them. Which I have been doing, ever since.

LISA!!! stick to your colour scheme, you made a commitment when you set up that tank!! Blue fish only, blue fish only! Sorry, talking to myself :P

Marie, the angle and lighting dont show there true colour... and remember, when you look at the ocean, it is not really green, and not really blue... confused???? good... lol

Lily, they are gorgeous... I plan to get some more, and fingers crossed, down the track they will breed... so maybe Blue might have to have a slight tinge of red...

It's the angle and lighting of the photograph as well.... These were pictures taken at SLS.... Don't they look pretty green? The 'Green' will get better with time.

And these are some pictures of the Bunga Raya taken a couple weeks ago at SLS when the new fish came out....

Kev,
Have you got a pic of one of those ocean greens as an adult??, id like to see how green the actually get or if its a better bet to get a royal green.

Cheers
Scott

Proteus
Tue Mar 02, 2004, 07:44 AM
Ocean Green, means more an aqua type colour, not bright green or anything...

trust me, having 4 of these beauties in my tank is awesum... you would not be disappointed, and the shape is much better than the Blue Diamond as kev pointed out to me in the store (comparing the subtle differences, proved the greens have a better shape)

Okay now that I have gotten caught up looking at you "new" babies I still say you have to many and you need to bring them to me when you go to the ACA in July. I have plenty of room and promise to take good care of them for you.

Yes I understand about the color now. No I am no longer confused.

Jesus H Murphy, man, those Melons are stunning!

The greens would show their colour much better with a flash on the camera (trust me on this, that's the only way I can show the colours on my greens to any decent effect)

**drool**......I gotta 135g here empty just waiting for some more discus and altums........

Annie

I will be breaking them up into various tanks over the coming weeks...

the two Snakeskin/Leopards are in a tall 2ft tank

I will be placing the 2 large Reds in the 68g (4ft'r)

the juvies will all be going in the 95g (4ft'r)

then done the track break them up again if pairs start to form etc...
