Some contain corotene increasing red color pigments. Others are just for vitiams and wheat germ supposedly helps keep them fertile.

Think heart has alot of iron and protien just guessing, i know lamb heart has alot more fat than beef heart.

Garlic is good for helping their apetite.

I actually made my first batch of B/H the other day .The survivor once he got used to it loves it - one thing I did do was split of about a third of the mix before I added the gelatine (not enough - I will try to get it right next time) and added metronidazole then froze it in separate bags marked with a big M , that probably was the wrong way to do it so if anyone can tell me one way or the other please do so.
