OK, Slippery Little Suckers, Kingsford is looking for "new blood".

We are looking for enthusiatic people to employ either as full time or part time staff.

You will learn about the finer points of the aquarium industry as well as learn a lot about fish and fish keeping in general.

SLS consist of a close knit team of ppl with varying degrees of expertise in various fields. Our focus is on high quality fish, service and professional advice.

At SLS, u will often see and learn about fish which u will hardly ever see at most other LFS as we go the extra distance to source for very rare fish.

Our main area of interest at SLS:
Discus - we import high grade hand selected discus. Some of the best discus in Sydney.

Bettas - again, we are the leading importer of high quality fancy betta varieties.

Catfish - we source and often have in stock a few varieties of rare catfish and L-numbered plecos.

Rare cichlids - while we do carry the common "bread and butter" cichlids, my focus is to streamline the cichlid collection at SLS to focus on rare Tanganyikans (Tropheus, sand sifters and others), and rare central and South American cichlids (especially of the Eartheater cichlids). We are currently planning shipments of wild caught Tanganyikans (from Tanzania), and wild caught South american fish out of Brazil

Aquatic plants - We aim to supply some of the more exotic plants in the hobby. We often have in stock a number of exotic swords and large show piece plants like Spatterdocks, Madagascan lace plants, etc.

Marine - We will be going into marine in a big way in the next 6months. 24 marine tanks will be shortly operational and provisions have been made in the quarantine room to allow marine imports. We will be importing marine soon.

If this sounds like the thing you would want to be involved in an learn about, drop in a resume at:
