Because I have read that discus need about 40l each to be comfortable and I have a 150l planted tank, I bought 4 discus.

Now three of them are ganging up on the one, and he is hiding and doesn't get to eat much, and is also now much smaller.

The three are growing beautifully and are very healthy so what do I do?

(they are accompanied by 24 assorted tetras, a cory, a dwarf gourami, 2 ottos and 3 flying foxes)... :?

Del, you certainly could add another 2 similar size Discus to the tank to disperse the aggression.

The 1 Discus per 40L rule is overly generous.

Further to that, you know where I hide most days, dont be a stranger lol

Exactly right.

The rule of thumb is 40L of water for a single discus. BUT this refers to a fully grown adult discus. When you have somewhat smaller fishes, you could easily add a few more to the tank.
