i've just been really inspired by a few tanks that have been aqua scaped, they look fantastic.

i have a 55g tank thats cycling for my discus to be moved and i want to have a go at aqua scaping this tank for them.

does anyone have any ideas what i should do? i already have 2 peices of driftwood in there existing tank i can use, and brown gravel, the light in the new tank is a power-glo

heres a few pics of the new tank

First up tell us more about your tank IE how much light watt's,are you going CO2.
Don't expect to do an scape over night it take's time and looooootttts of PATIENCE but once you have passed the test you are rewarded with a beautiful tank

Get some more light's that fit in the hood IE 2x2 Fluro's or T5's then you can use 2x 54 watt's.

So you have 1x 28 watt gro lux and 1x 28 watt power glo?If so you need aleast another 2x28 watt's.
