So far i am very impressed with this little hand held digital unit.
It is very accurate and i will be able to keep breeders at a lower Gh
while the fry at a slightly higher GH.

It gets Ben's tick of approval with a score of 92 out of 100

I am very happy with this TDS meter.
As i do a lot of water changes and even more on the fry/juvies, i can keep thier GH higher than the breeders.
The water that comes out of the tap in my area of Melbourne hovers around 29 ppm TDS.
Because of the soft water this is great for the breeders but NO good for the young as there could be a constant danger of a PH crash.
So I have been keeping the young juvies around 120 ppm TDS.
So after twice dailly water changes i check the TDS reading and bring it up to 120ppm.

One thing though which may seem small, the unit will turn off automatically after not bieng in use for 10 minutes, which is awesome!
As my Digital PH tester does not have this function and have left it on to find flat battery's the next day!
