Hi I have a spare 6ft tank in my garage with 4x 3ft bio lux fluro lights, aqua one 1200 ltr/ hr canister filter, aqua one 300 watt ss heater.
ANY IDEAS FOR THE SET UP? PLANTS, SAND/GRAVEL, WHICH DISCUS I SHOULD GET.

keep it simple

BB with pots filled with plants, nice swords and javavfern etc

or driftwood with anubis

and then stack it full of every discus colour you can find!

(add another heater for our cold winter nights)

Or a left field thought, you could get 2 dividers, and make yourself 3, 2x2x2 ... and you would have some nice breeding tanks =)

Revkev..
are you planning this setup tobe a display tank or holding tank?

If you have the patience and $$$ aquascaping is the way to go for a display tank

I think, since you have a canister filter n e way you might as well go a full planted tank with clay based substrate and a nice BIG ornamental driftwood as a center peice.

thats my opinion
