Remember seeing that some time ago, it looks so simple but that took just under a year, he had some problems with bulk heads and something about the protein skimmer not being big enough. Id love to swim with my discus that would be awesome. Then again they might not want to swim with me.!

Anyone know the dimensions of the tank???

Showed the pictures to my wife... might have a chance of doing something similar when we build our new house... in about 10 years

Yeah, that's what automated trickle changers are for! Imagine constant outflow and inflow of water....

Ryan I do believe you have her on a technicality - getting your wife to admit that after you have converted the garage though is another matter (was promised an 8 footer when we bought a house - its a good one to liven up the conversation)

wy wife said she wants the tank slightly bigger, with a few more sharks.

she then said she would feed me to them, claim the life insurance and transform the tank into a spa for her and her "not deluded" new husband.

bummer................

Ryan trust me, let her name a discus or let her pick one out. She wont look back

she would ask

"Which fish dosen't everyone else want"

and i'd end up with some deformed runt and when it died it would be the end of the world.

i'll have to tee up someone and get them to say,

"No one wants this breeding pair of campion Discus, its the perfect colours and shape that turns everyone off"

might have to tweak your idea flukes, but she will have her own fish when i transform the new room..
