Hmm why destroy the fish ??
Surely the Melbourne Aquarium or Zoo could put them in Quarantine and then display ?
If they are worth doing time for then they are prob worth keeping alive.

lol ill bet kev... they r stupid if they think she is goin to release them into the wild! nobody would take a risk like that to release the fish

and i think that it is very stupid to destroy the fish without examining them first! for all they know it could be a super rare species!

and roy nah mate they r better off sending them up here to 1 of our zoo's ;)

HOw long in the flight from Singapore???

goldenpigeon
Tue Jun 07, 2005, 06:41 AM
she might have had a small amount of food with her for the fish and gone into the plane bathrooms to feed them and mayb replace a little bit of the water? i guess thats how they survived? plus there is climate control in the planes and the warmth from her body would have kept the conditions ok. the fish also would have been packed just before the flight with pure oxygen.

I don't think you'd need to worry about feeding / replacing the water - the time in tranist would probably be less than if they were shipped...

Someone got a bit carried away at Aquarama I think....

lol yer. just a thought........ they might need to change a little bit of the water? i think she could have put a little less water in the bags thoagh.... you only need enough water to cover the fish, the biggest concern i think would be oxygen. with so much water in the bags nowonder she was caught lol

Those Baggage Handlers Must be real good as the bags were under her dress    Imagine sitting there for 16 hours listening to sloshing water.
