TANK CYCLE - some toubles.

hi everyone.
my tanks been cycling for 6 days today. but still no ammonia reading and ph is too high. about 8.
and i been using nitrovec biostarter.
wat do i do???

fishless cycling without adding ammonia ..
and you expect some ammonia reading?

took sum water down to work. ph is on 7.4 at the moment and general hardness is 140. i used the ph pen. the sera test kits arnt accurate enough.

but unless you where to add ammonia, i would not expect a reading.

are you familiar with flukes topic on fishless cycling?

yeh very familiar. its all been taken care of. coz some establised media from a friends tank put it in mine. and chucked in couple of neons.
