Hi Here is a pic of my 6 ft tank I put Vallisneria along the back it grows fast but is easy to prune. I have just cut it back as I will be away for a few weeks. I also run injected C02.
Hope this is of some help.

Hi Yes the tiger lotus just went crazy after I put fertilzer tabs under the gravel. It gives the discus shade from the lights well that my excuse anyway : )

Ok I use hygrophilia on one side only because I got it for free. To the planted tank above me have you tried to use a darker background i.e. black as it would make your plants and fish brighter just a suggestion. Has that tiger lotus produced runners?

Got back from holidays had to prune back tiger lotus and thin out runners
10 of them so far and more coming up. Getting too many of them must have 20+ by now.
