Cooking Salt

Hi Ladyred, I was reading a thread that you responded to from(iamking)
on BD needs help.
You sugested cooking salt :!:
This sugestion got me thinking about about the Aquarium Salt that I use,
I chuck in a couple of Tablespoons sometimes a water changes, Ive heard it calms the fish down a bit treats for ich etc etc,
Is cooking salt a cheaper alternate.
Please anyone place your thoughts aswell :!:

Cooking salt is the cheap alternative to finely crushed table salt. Table salt has cornflour added to it to make it run freely. Cooking salt is the plain old ordinary stuff and is ideal for use in the aquarium.

Aquarium salt is a different thing altogether, usually blue and has lots of other additives.
