Just need a bit of advice please!
I am just about to treat all my tanks with prazi,
but low and belhold 3 of my pairs have spawned!

A young pair of turks spawned but there might be a low fertilzed rate so i am not worried so much about them.

Ocean greens spawned, not a big spawn like last time
but a spawn neither the less.

Snakeskins spawned, biggest spawn i have ever seen!

Would prazi affect eggs and or wrigglers?

Common sense would tell me to wait a bit, but these bl00dy flukes are giving me the SH%TS.

any advise?

Ben, this is probably going to be hard advice to follow, but if it were me, I would remove all the eggs and treat the parents first.

They will all be ready to spawn again in a couple of weeks. I have never treated wrigglers with prazi, so can't tell you the effects.

I'd just hate to see you go through another tragedy.

Cheers Merrilyn thanks for the advise. :D
I already feel like a mass murder but aborting the eggs aswell.......

Might be worth a trial using prazi on wrigglers?

Might have to sleep on it.

Thanks again,
Ben

You are definately not a mass murderer mate.

But I understand how you feel.

Whatever you decide, we're all behind you.

Ok,
the war against gill flukes has started!
As a trial i have a young pair of BD with about a dozen wrigglers, not many so i will trial with prazi, and will moniter whats happens to the wrigglers.

I also have a tank with a pair of young turks with eggs, will see whats happens to them too.

Also i may be stating the ovious but i have reduced the water level on all my tanks to half.
This in theory will save costs on using the prazi, a great tip for everyone who has not thought of it!
Basically halving the cost of medication!

Today is day one so i will keep all posted!
