Hello everyone, at the moment my goldern sunrise I think she has a bout of worms. she used to be an active eater. At the moment she only eats BH mix, nothing else, very unusual for her. Ive noticed a long white feces trailling her. Ive treated with Parzi before so Ive seen tubeworms.
It dosent look like a worm. Looking at her latest feces still a little white but with some colour in it.
In the meantime she has spawned and is guarding eggs.
Should I treat for worms soon.
She still looks fine.
Amonia levels 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrites 0
Ph 5.8
I had a recent water problem with high nitrates,
all under control now.
I also notice breathing very slow sometimes it was hard to see gills
operating, but they are fine now aswell.
Any Advice would be graetly apreciated :!:

I don't think you've got anything to worry about there.

Females guarding eggs often go off their food.

Her droppings sound fairly normal for a beef heart only diet. Once she starts eating properly again, it should begin to look normal.

Just keep an eye on her for the moment.

Thanks for the advice Merrilyn.
Im still puzzled to know why her poo was white and stringy.
But yep I will keep an eye on her.
I really wont take her out and worm her.
Just not sure if Prazi is the right stuff for that worm if it is a worm.

Hi Chris the fish I got off you a couple of weeks ago is doing the same thing I notice occasionly a long stringy white poo but the next is brown she also is only eating bh at the moment will pick at the bw and bs but not as much and wont have a bar of the flake or colourbits fussy thing I just put it down to shes still settling in so I think its just diet related and nothing to worry about.

Hopefully its just settling in, although she should eat anything, I never gave my guys flake but she loved everything else.
My golderns poo, when ive seen is mainly white with a bit of colour.
Who knows maybe Ill just keep going as normal,
She still eats but not active like before.
Thanks again for the water tips,
with all my water changes now, my water PH is no longer acid, well only slighty.
