Easiest way is to add RO water. It triggers their brains that fresh rains have occured. Works every time. You can even feed them tetra bits and they will spawn.

Good Luck

For all you music buffs out there, Chris de Burg sang a song called "Lady in red". We have administrators with a sense of humour  but it's ok. They will let us get back to normal one day. :P

HI, me got a pair that never stop spawning when in Comm tank, sometime twice per week. But lol, when I catch them up and put into solo tank, they never want. Guess some fish like group sex.

Are the water conditions the same?

Hi tiger, yes I know what you mean. I've had the same thing with pairs spawning in the main tank, and yet all they do is hide when I put them into a spawning tank on their own.

It can sometimes take a month or two before they feel comfortable enough to begin spawning again. Just give them time. Feed them well and give them lots of water changes. Sometimes providing two spawning cones (one at each end of the tank) can help too.
