hello everyone,
Has anyone had fish spawn in a comunity tank and live,
I have a pair of turqs spawning all the time finally they spawned near the front of the tank so, now I can tell if there going to hatch or not.
To my joy I can see black dots in them
There looks to be about 5 with black dots and about 50+ white.
Ive got 7 other discus to feast on them.
Can they be fish out soon(in a week or so) :?:
At the same time I had 2 other fish lay eggs.
One with out a partner.
The other one with my golden sunrise, who was trying to get with one of the turqs.
I think the sunrise is a female acting like a male.
Its all very confusing in the tank at the moment.

hi chris,
not long ago i had a pair of mine spawn in my 6ft and they had free swimming babies. but unfortunatly the 40 odd tetras and 2 canister filters claimed them. but i doubt they would be able to keep the babies alive in these conditions.

Time to buy a new tank maybe!? is it worth setting up a breeding tank just for them?
keep us posted on how they go,

cheers,
Ben
