I have received a lot of emails over the last few months asking advice from beginner angel breeders, so thought i'd post something here that i recommend to everyone.

Breeding angels is dead easy if you follow the time line of events.

here are 3 you tube clips that are fantastic. I did not make them and all credit must go to the originator "Jazzy78910" who made these and a few other great videos.

I've been breeding angels for a while now and they were still educational to me. I do some things a little different but the timing of everything is the same.

Some key things i think are vital:

write on your calendar the date your pair spawn
start your first brine shrimp hatchery on the evening of day 5
start the second brine shrimp hatchery on the evening of day 6
day 5's batch will be ready for harvesting on morning of day 7 when they go free swimming - they won't need much that day though
fry need to be fed a MINIMUM of twice per day but three times is best
restart day 5's hatchery with new eggs in the evening of day 7
restart day 6's hatchery with new eggs in the evening of day 8 - and so on from then on
each evening your will be restarting a new batch of brine shrimp eggs for at least the first few weeks
each batch of brine eggs will be one days food so judge the amount of eggs you use on the amount of fry you have - generally 1/2 - 3/4 tsp is enough in the beginning, but more may be required as they grow
when the fry are at about 1cm start to introduce crushed flake as well as baby brine shrimp
by 2cm they should be off baby brine and on crushed pellets, flake etc
cover the intake of all filters with sponge before day 7

hope that helps.... feel free to post your questions here and i'll do my best to answer them

cheers
