Hoping either Jothy or Mattzilla pop into this thread, although advice from anyone else who has some of Mattzilla's albino LF BN's.

Does anyone know what L number they are. Trying to figure out if they are of the Panaque variety - mainly to figure out if they will be too tough on my 3D tank background.

Thanks for any replies :)

just had a quick look online and found this

"This fish is from the genus Ancistrus which includes more than sixty subspecies"

" Ancistrus cf. cirrhosus"

hope that helps

there isn't an L number as such for them locality infomation is unavailable L144 comes to mind as an albino bristlenose with black eyes but this is also most likely incorrect.

common, albino, calico and red in any finshape short or long are all the 1 species just diffrent color varients so they all interbreed and throw fertile fry.

unfortunately the best we can do for a L number is Ancistrus sp.

Thanks guys :)

So not Panaque? Safe for that background (same one I sent you the sample of Jothy?)
