Those of you who know me know I'm a sucker for whiptail cats, i built a new system just for them.

The rack has 3 tanks 2x 2x1x14"tall 60L and a 2x1x18"tall 80L. all tanks are drilled and filtration is via an eheim 2217.

I'm using a 2x20w aquaone T8 light for the 80L and 2 clip on lamps each with a 12w CF for the smaller 60L's.

fry are raised in the top and bottom tanks with the breeding trio in the middle.

temp is 27C thanks to a jager 300w heater in a fluval heater guard.

That looks great mate, just curious mate, but what are specs of the water.

What are there breeding pattern like, 3 or 4 times a year or every 30 days?

Love wipetails just never had any luck with them.

just like Mingram said mine spawn almost constantly now maybe with a weeks rest in between.

temp is steady at 27C,
ph 6.0-6.5
30% water changes every 2nd day
feeding every night at lights out with hikari sinking wafers and a pinch of frozen bbs.

fry get frozen bbs and crushed hikari sinking wafers as well as algae off the glass.
