Checkerboard Cichlid (Dicrossus filamentosus or crenicara filamentosa)

Anyone kept these before with discus ?

Also are they readily available ? ... as I am thinking they might go great with my baby discus .... probably just two of them.

We have them usually in a tank of discus juveniles. They are on the importable list so they are available, though not always available.

The ones we have previously gotten from other wholesalers tend to be a tad too small and rather sensitive. We like to buy ours a tad bigger and have had more success keeping them.

They like a fair bit of plants in the tank.
