Btw the units are pretty funky. I am glad my adult discus eat flakes. I need to retrain my babies to eat colorbits, I have been spoiling them on beef heart mix (discus dinner) during their recovery. Going away for 4 days ... trialing out the units now. They certainly are cool.

I find granules (especially Breeders Premium) work best with these units...

all my tanks have these on them, with up to 4 small feeds per day, it gives me peace of mind... and it is so funny watching the fish as they know when they are going to go off, and they all bunch up below the beloved hand of food...
