hey all
ive got some old tanks im cleaning up.
i have been using some hydochloric acid solution.(works well).
one of the boys at work suggested using white vinigar,so i gave it a try on a small section of a tank(tanks are dirty)and it worked really well.
has anyone used this before?
im wondering if the vinigar will have any adverse afects to silicone or some sort of residue will be left behind after a thorough clean with fresh water.
any thoughts

cheers boydie :D

anything acidic will remove the buildup of calcium salts.
