Breeding Angels

I have a pair of angels in a 250L tank which will aventually be a discus tank however they have layed eggs on 3 leaves and the male (hopefully) fertilised the eggs. I left both fish in there and they were fanning the eggs constantly. A day later they had all turned white. I was wondering if it was first time (not in a community tank) jitters? or if the male was infertile? or if the male was infact a male?

i don't know about you but i didn't even get close my first time

expect the same with fish

give em a few goes and see if that "scoring" goals
